I am so sorry for your loss. May "the God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God's Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.

Aunt Rocky, the times we shared together were absolutely wonderful and I am so glad we got time to spend together. I promise I will not give up and I will get out of this chair. I love and miss you so very much. Tell Uncle Hap hello and give him a hug and kiss for me.

Playing The Wii - December 15, 2011
Posted: February 16, 2012 | Last Revised: February 16, 2012
I remember going into the hospital to visit Aunt Rocky and see how she was doing. Her nurse was just taking her to therapy for the day and invited my mom and I to come along. Aunt Rocky got to play bowling on the Wii against another man who was also in therapy. I remember mom asking her how she was doing and Aunt Rocky said, "I am kicking his ass!" with a smile on her face. That was the last time I seen my Aunt Rocky and I am so glad I was there to see that.
