Obituary of Nicholas K. Hill

Nicholas Keith Hill was born in Longmont, Colorado, on March 6th, 1990, to Holly Hill and Danny Cochran. Nick passed away on March 27, 2023, at Penrose Hospital. Nick substained major injuries while trying to help a friend. Even after his death, nick retains the hero title by donating his organs and saving many lives. Nick spent most of his life in Limon, Colorado, where he attended school and enjoyed spending time with his friends. After school, Nick loved to go down to his stepdad's shop to get the fishing poles and go fishing. Nick was always excited to bring all the fish had caught home to his mom. One of Nick's greatest childhood memories was asking his Great Grandfather, Keith, to make him cream of wheat. Another was when his Great Grandmother, Dorothy would cut fresh peaches for him to enjoy. His Great Grandparents always appreciated their time spend with Nick.
Nick obtained his GED in May 2015 and spoke about getting a college degree one day. He was a bit of an entrepreneur when it came to working. He had many skills and talents. Nick was always trying to find the perfect job.
Nick Mentioned that his greatest accomplishment in life was becoming a father to his beautiful girls, Aaliyah and Lacie. Nick was working to rebuild a lasting relationship and looked forward to his phone calls with his girls. Nick loved every minute the got to spend on the phone together. Nick enjoyed his zombie adventures and conversations with his father; trivia talks and long phone calls with his mother. Nick was always trying to keep up on current events with his brothers, sisters, and other family members lives. Nick had a huge heart and a smile that was contagious. He always had a way to keep you laughing. Nick's signature was his "pimped out" style.
Nick had numerous hobbies that included fishing, watching Broncos play on Sundays, and he never missed a Rockies game. Nick had love for trivia and useless knowledge, and always being on top of current events in the world. He had a love of drawing and tattooing. Nick spent the better part of the last seven years, challenging his mind, making amends and learning to love himself, talking on the phone with his family and making plans for a better and brighter future.
Nick is preceded in death by his Great Grandparents, Keith and Dorothy Kvasnicka, and Grandparents Gunde and Roger Cochran.
Nick is survived by his parents Holly Rosler of Limon, Colorado. Danny (Lisa) Cochran of Langley, Washington. Sisters: JaLisa (Keith) Newcomb and there kids, Rylee and Corbin of Limon, Colorado. Jordan Cochran of Langley, Washington. Sydney Rosler of Limon, Colorado. Cassie Walsh of Langley, Washington. Brothers: Dylan Cochran of Casper, Wyoming. Caden (Angelina) Rosler of Limon, Colorado. Grandma Judy Williams of Pahrump, Nevada. Daughters: Aaliyah Galvan of Limon, Colorado. Lacie Wilson of Wakeeney, Kansas. Uncles: Tom Hill of Limon, Colorado. Dale Cochran of Limon, Colorado. Aunt: Stephanie Hill of Lakewood, Colorado. And numerous cousins.
