Just ran across this and wanted to send my condolences. Alice transferred to Cherry Creek in 11th grade. It was a rough enough school to be accepted because of the cliques—next to impossible if transferring from another school. In Alice’s case, South High. We instantly became best friends, hell-raising friends to be exact. During our 20’s, life and adulthood caused us to lose contact with one another, but I have never forgot Alice, and she has always been in my heart, if not in my life.
