Sheila was such a good seamstress. She taught me a lot about fabric & what to buy. She taught me how to do the Swedish weaving that she was so good at. I will never be that good at any type of sewing. Just know we are thinking of her family in your sorrow.Julia

Many memories of Shelia come to my mind. We loved to visit about sewing and the many county fair ribbons won for her beautiful blankets, and sharing neighborhood news. May she rest in peace. Shelia you will be missed.

Sheila was so very special to me. We referred to each other as adopted mother/daughter. But it was much more than that. She was mom, mentor, teacher, friend, and confidant, and of course kitchen partner, having canned together many jars of jelly in what we would call our “jam sessions”. Oh the fun we had! I now find myself stumbling through my daily routine as I learn with each painful step how to live without her. God, I miss her.
