Daddy, I get on this site all the time. I'm not sure exactly why I do but it makes me feel close to you.(and it took me 6 years to realize I could sign your guest book!) I know our time together was short but everything happens for a reason, and time doesn't determine how much a person can love another. I know that i I was blessed to have had the time that I did with such a beautiful person. Your in such a better more peaceful place now, and I'm happy knowing that you are finally free from the pain and sadness that ever overcame you. I wish I realized it when I had the chance, but you were such a wise man! You really understood life and you let it teach you lessons..... Lessons that I wish u were here giving me, because I keep getting stuck. Six years ago I had my own idea of what real life was and I thought you just got the life you were dealt. I had no concept of distraction, decisions, pain, temptation, love, or anything that could change you or make you cold. I always feel like if you were here you would have prepared me and used your life to try and guide me into mine. ( because as you probably know.... I could use it)
I love you. I miss you. And I want you to know that the short time we had years ago is still the most meaningful and happy time even all these years later! I hope I'm making you smile up there..... And I hope your saving me a spot on your patio swing up there for when I meet my dad again. -karaboo
