Jim, Laurell and family, I am saddened by the loss of Dorothy. She was a special lady. We enjoyed many conversations in the middle of the night while I worked at the Bee Hive. She always loved when I would surprise her with straight from the oven sugar cookies. We would sit and talk and eat those cookies while everyone else was sleeping. As I am sure you all know she loved you all so very much. She would brag on every one of you!! She always had tons of stories and loved to tell them. She will be missed. I hope you can find some comfort in knowing that she is again with Sam. My prayers are with you all!

Jim, Laurell, and families, Please except our sincere sympathy in the loss of your Mother. She and your Dad were certainly pillars of the Genoa Community. They both gave of their time to many organizations. I remember Dorothy as a 4/H leader, and she was very good at it. I also remember your Dad when he drove the school bus. He was everybody's buddy. Everybody respected both of them. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

We'll Remember Her In the rising of the sun and in its going down, We'll remember her; In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter, We'll remember her; In the opening of the buds and in the warmth of summer, We'll remember her; In the rustling of leaves and the beauty of autumn, We'll remember her; In the beginning of the year, and when it ends, We'll remember her; When we are weary and in need of strength, We'll remember her; When we are lost and sick at heart, We'll remember her; When we have joys we yearn to share, We'll remember her; So long as we live, they too shall live, For she is now a part of us as We remember her.
