Obituary of Clayton Bush

Clayton Robert Bush, age 48 of Limon, Colorado passed away June 12, 2007 at his home in Limon.
Clayton was born July 1, 1958 in Norfolk, Virginia to Clayton and Mary (Gratzer) Bush.
Clayton graduated from Air Academy High School in Colorado Springs in 1976. He then attended Denver University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1981.
Clayton was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church where he was active on the financial committee and a treasure for the Knights of Columbus. Clayton was a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus. He enjoyed playing strategy games and traveled around the United States attending conferences and completions. He recently traveled abroad to Italy where he studied Napoleonic war tactics. Clayton was a war history buff and enjoyed the history of the Catholic Church.
Clayton was employed by the Colorado Department of Corrections in Limon where he was the Business Manager for the last twenty years. He was also the Secretary/Treasure of the Limon Corrections Facility Employee Staff Council.
Clayton was preceded in death by his grandparents, and one brother-in-law Bill Bullard.
Clayton is survived by his parents Clayton and Mary Bush of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Two brothers Mark and wife Cindy and their son Brandon Bush of Parker, Colorado, and Bob and wife Ann and their son Jack Bush of Hutchinson, Kansas. Three sisters Barbara Bush and daughter Brae Bullard of Carbondale, Colorado, Betty Bush and husband Tom Hubbard of Aurora, Colorado, and Mary Dean and husband Lee and their son Kyle McCutchen of Bayfield, Colorado. Also surviving are numerous extended family.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 16, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Limon with Father George Fagan, officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastonville Cemetery north of Peyton, Colorado.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 15, 2007 from 4 to 6 p.m. with a Rosary being said at 5:30 p.m. at the Love Funeral Home in Limon, Colorado.
