I had the pleasure of knowing Marcene thoughout my years of working in area school libraries and I now enjoy the legacy she left in the form of "the best job in town" as director of the Limon Memorial Public Library. Marcene was a true lady and left touched many lives during her time in Limon. I feel blessed to have called her my friend.
I am a former Limonite. I did not know Marcene well, but I always felt she was a gracious lady. I am sorry to learn of her passing. To her family, my condolences.
