Linda and family, I only heard about your loss recently. I am so sorry for your loss. Jeremiah was a kid the last time I saw him, back in the Fireside days. The first thing I remember about him, and what I remember best is his smile and that he was a good natured young man that you were so proud of. My best thoughts and prayers are with those he left behind. Thank you for sharing this website with us.

Linda, Gary & Family-
Donnelly & I were very sorry to hear about Jeremiah. Although I wasn't in Limon too often, I always thought he was a cute kid with a great personality. Shara confirmed that impression. We are sorry for your loss and prayers are with you to find peace with it all somehow.
Love & Sympathy,

Big Brother has got your back!
Posted: September 24, 2010 | Last Revised: September 24, 2010
A couple years ago at the fair dance there was an incident of a boy (I'm not saying names) and I dancing. Miah had noticed that is one guy had been pushing a little hard and was trying to touch me in places that were not wanted. I remember Miah coming up to me and saying "is that farmer trying to touch you?!" and I told him no, it's fine I'll take care of it not wanting to start any fights or what not. So as Miah was, he never listened to me- and he proceeded to go along with what he had planned to do. I just remember looking across the dance seeing him holding this guy up against the wall. I did not go over there I just let him do his thing lol :) as soon as he was done giving him a "what for" he came over to me and said you tell me you want me to kick his a**, your big brother will always have your back! I will not post on here what was said bc Im sure you all can imagine! I miss him, he was the one and only person I have ever called my big brother. He was a great man!

Jeremiah & Tawnia,
Even though I was not lucky enough to get to know you as well as I know Tawnia, I did get to know you enough to know that you and Tawnia were perfect for each other. I have known Tawnia for a long time and I know that after she started seeing you she was a totally different person. She was happy, whole and finally grounded as a person. To see Tawnia interact with Shaylyn is a warm sight. Every time I see Tawnia with her I can tell that she loves her very much, just like her own. Rest In Peace Jeremiah and know that Tawnia has alot of people that love her and will watch out for her. GOD BLESS YOU!

the Cowboy prayer
Our Heavenly Father, we pause at this time,
mindful of the many blessings you have bestowed upon us.
We ask, Lord, that you will be with us in the arena of life.
We as cowboys do not ask for special favors.
We don't ask to draw around the chute fighting horse, the steer that won't lay, or to never break the barrier.
We don't even ask for all daylight runs.
We do ask Lord, that you will help us live our lives here on earth as cowboys, in such a manner, that when we make that last inevitable ride, to the country up there, where the grass grows lush, green, and stirrup high, and the water runs cool, clear, and deep, that you'll take us by the hand and say -
"Welcome to Heaven cowboy, your entry fees are paid."
Ride in Peace Jerimiah
