My Deep Sympathy goes to Nita's family. My memories of the Sellman's are before 1962 when I was a Sunday School and VBS student. I remember visiting with Nita at my Mom's(Regina)87th birthday party at Trinity. Being part of LWML from the California-Nevada-Hawaii District, we saw each other at National LWML Conventions. Nita's legacy as a mentor lives on as someone who Loved and Served the Lord with Gladness. Marcy, you influenced my life in VBS, too. May God's presence, peace, comfort, and love be abundant for all your family during this sad time.

Wonderful woman

I am Jessica Sholes-Alexander, daughter of Stewart Sholes, also deceased. I would just like to say a few words about Nita and how she was an inspiration to me growing up. I did not see her much in person, but she kept in touch with me and my sister alot through letters. It was very nice to know that she thought of us often. She would tell us about her trips, like when she was in China. Very sweet woman, and my heart goes out to her close family. She also made my day last year which I regret thanking her for this, but she sent me a package of pictures from when I was a young child, pictures I had never seen before. It was amazing to see a part of my childhood I never knew existed. So Thank You!!!

I have such fond memories of Nita! She and Connie and all the Sellmans were a big part of our church family at Trinity! She was always so friendly and had a warm smile. Mom enjoyed Bible study with her for years. What a special lady indeed!
