I've been thinking about all of the memories I have of Judy. In all of the memories I have, we are laughing our heads off. Judy had the sense of humor that would catch you by surprise and make you giggle till you practically cried. I know she will be very missed, because she was such a devoted mother and grandmother, faithful friend, and salt of the earth human-being.

To Troy and Brenda and your families:
Please accept our heartfelt sympathy in the loss of your mother. We were shocked and saddened to read the obituary in The Limon Leader. We had just received her Christmas letter a couple of weeks ago. In it she mentioned being diagnosed with gastric cancer but we didn't know how serious it was. We are terribly sorry and we share in your grief because we have lost a dear friend. Judy worked for us back in the 70s when we owned The Limon Leader. We were next door neighbors to your grandparents, Frank and Clara. We remember Judy as a great employee with a cheerful and bubbly way about her. She loved good humor and was always livening up our workplace. I still laugh about one time I was giving her a hard time (in a fun way) about something and her quick response was: "Norman if you don't behave yourself, I'm going to fire you and advertise for a new boss for this newspaper!" Gladys and I have lost a very dear friend. May God Bless you both and all of her loved ones.

Robert, Brenda, Troy and all of Judy's grandbabies. I already miss talking to Judy, she seemed to always understand everyone's situation. We had so many wonderful times together, summers at the pool in Dalhart, holidays with our extended families, visits to OKC etc. My favorite is last time she came to visit us and we made some wonderful memories for our children's children.
Judy you never complained, you endoured much, I am so glad you are free now and with Jesus. We love you so much and will see you in Heaven.

Dear Family, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all and that I am sure Judy is at peace and is now with the ultimate love and light. I have so many sweet memories of Judy and her encouragement through the years meant so much to me. I have so many family members who, for various reasons, spent more time than they should have in hospitals or in the health care system. Please know that I have one more dear soul to dedicate my nursing career to. God bless you all,

Brenda and Troy,
So very sorry to hear of your loss. Judy was one of the first people I met when I moved to Limon in 1986; she was a Equitable next door to the Radio Shack, which my ex and I ran for two years as L-B Sallee Co. She always had a smile and kind word, and I truly enjoyed visiting with her. You were blessed with a wonderful mom, and know that her death will leave a void in your lives. Let the many memories fill that space, they will keep her alive in your hearts!

Troy, Brenda.Robert, Micki and all the little grandchildren - Judy was such a precioous person always wanting to help- her smile and kind words will stay with us all-when she was a little girl her favorite song was The B I B L E and she sang it a lot - one day when the preacher was visiting she got the Bible and brought it into the room and stood on it - after all the song says stand upon the word of God and that she did. We are all so proud of her many accomplishments -may she rest in peace with her family.

I knew Judy when she was State Director for USDA RD and also a member of the Colorado Rural Development Council. I was always impressed by her profound love for rural Colorado, especially the eastern plains. Rural Colorado is a much better place because of all her efforts. I have thought of her often since she left USDA RD. May the pain of this difficult loss dim as the memories of all she accomplished in life grow brighter. Condolences to all her family and friends.

To the Jaklich Family and friends with heartfelt sympathy,
May you find comfort in the word of God and in the knowledge that others sympathize with you in your loss. Since this may be one of the hardest things we will ever have to cope with, the bible offers hope. Pointing to a glorious time, Isaiah 25:8 says, "God will actually swallow up death forever and God has certainly wipe the tears from all faces." Please read John 5:28,29. It has bought comfort to me and my family. I pray it does the same for you.

Dear Troy, Brenda and Grandbabies! What a beautiful LEGACY your mother left. I have wonderful memories with my grandparents (your great aunt and uncle) that I often reflect on and I know that you all will as well. These memories are what will get you through the tough times along with only the peace that God will give. Having wonderful parents to raise us is a blessing that God gives us. The most awesome gift is knowing that it is only a temporary separation that we have from our savior and our loved ones. May God keep your spirits lifted as you celebrate your mom's life.
