Obituary of Kenneth Goldsberry
Kenneth Dale Goldsberry, 78 of Strasburg Colorado passed away on February 06, 2011 in Aurora Colorado.
Kenneth was born in Simla Colorado to Guy and Jewell (Malloy) Goldsberry one of five children losing his parents at an early age. He obtained a 7th grade education from the Simla school.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Virgil Dean, Earl Loyd and Donald Wayne Goldsberry.
Kenneth worked on several farms and ranches until he was drafted to serve his country from February 1953 through February 1955 in the army branch of the military being honorably discharged.
He was employed by the Colorado department of highways from 1955 to 1987 where he plowed snow Maintained the road.
Kenneth married Lois Crabb on December 22 1956 in Simla, Colorado. The couple had three sons Billy, Danny and Gary Goldsberry.
Kenneth also ran his own grader business. Which his backed filled houses and built roads from the wheat fields for oil fields roads made air ports and subdivisions roads.
He enjoyed working on his older cars which consisted of a 1923 model t and a 1951 jeep. He enjoyed work on them with is sons and grand children. He was known to say fords good Chevy bad. Kenneth never new a stranger would talk to you like he knew you all of his life.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lois Goldsberry of Strasburg Colorado and their three sons; Billy his wife Doreen Goldsberry of Strasburg, Danny his wife Linda Goldsberry of South Fork, Colorado Gary his wife Chrystal Goldsberry of Parker. Kenneth is also survived by 9 grandchildren 6 great grandchildren and his sister Louise Betty Herrold of Rancho Cucamonga California.
