The short time that I got to care and know for Joyce will be a lasting memory in my heart. I was very impressed by the love that Al showed to his wife, their marriage is truly an inspiration. Joyce was fortunate to have such a loving husband. Al was with Joyce every day he could that is truly the commitment of Love. Although she is not with us, her genuine caring and open heart allowed her to open her heart to me , a complete stranger. May God Bless Al and grant him Peace and comfort but most importantly that Al know how much God Loves him. With Deepest Sympathy,
Keren Gomez

Al never spoke of Joyce except to praise her or to be thankful for having her in his life. The world would be a better place indeed if everyone could know a love that strong. May the Spirit take him under its wing and give him comfort in this time of sorrow. God's blessings be on all the family as well.

With Deepest Sympathies. You and Joyce were my surrogate parents to a lonely Sailor at my first duty station. You both made me feel welcomed in your home. I know Joyce is walking with God, take solice knowing she's not suffering anymore and her body is fully restored. We only say "goodbye" to those we're not going to see anymore, so to Joyce, I'll say "See you later". May God bless your family during this difficult time.
