I haven't seen Carl since he left Brentwood. We had some fantastic times back at Liberty and I have thought of him often over the years. I'm sorry I never got to spend any more time with him. He was great to be around! Rest in Peace Carl.

Nancy, We are so sorry to hear about Carl. He was truly a fine man. The times I remember when you two were at my dad's house he had such a big and hearty laugh. He had the best patience with my dad. We will not forget him. You are in our prayers.

His picture catches the same smile i remember since early childhood. Carl and I were classmates since grammar school. Carl's smile and laughter are his most defining characteristics. Time and distance seem to separate us from old friends but the news still comes as fresh as yesterday and hits as hard as Carl (and John) did. God Bless old friend.

Nancy and family,
I have been spending my time recalling all of the ways that Carl has helped so many people. I find the list extremely long to list here but Jesus knows and that is what is good. He has impacted many people with his Christian walk causing some to come back to the Lord and causing others to come to the Lord. May we all learn something from the life of Carl that we can apply to our lives giving praise and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. Mary Shimmin

Dear Rogers' family, My deepest sympathy to you in the loss of Pastor Carl. I very much enjoyed him over the last several years and appreciated his ministry to us when we were without a pastor. He will be missed in our "settlement" community.

Dear Nancy,Zach,& Ida Mae
I am so sorry to hear about Carl. I have done alot of reminiscing in my mind. The meals together, camping in eastern Oregon the first years of your marriage.Oh what fun times we had. Most of all I am remembering his laughter and his zeal and love for Jesus. I still cherish the encouraging times we all had together.
I KNOW he is with Jesus and is among the great cloud of witnesses, cheering us on.
My prayers and thoughts are with you. Love,Kathy

We extend our thoughts and payers to the Nancy, Zack & Ida Mae. Pastor Roger was a very comassionate caring pastor of his church.Never expecting glory for himself.
During the different times that my parents were in the hospital, Pastor was always there for support. He gave beautiful services for Mom & Dad last April when they went to be with Jesus.
