Sorry for your loss. It sounds like Jack was a great man who accomplished many good things. I stumbled across this site while doing family research for the Butterfield Family Reunion in Wisconsin. Jack was a descendant of the Butterfields. I was surprised to find that he had died recently given he was born in 1919. Jack's great-grandmother, Caroline V. Butterfield was the sister of my great great great grandfather, Warren A. Butterfield.

We are sorry we were unable to attend the service for Jack. Dave had a lot of admiration for Jack and his devotation to the Boy Scouts.
Thought and prayers are with your family.
