I meant Astrid delivering groceries from Super Foods, she was kind, and very sweet. One day I had one of the baggers with me delivering and she only had one bag. Shane was very happy to take Astrid her bag alone, he liked her. As I waited and waited, I started to fear something was wrong,so I went in to find Shane and all the ladies in game of poker. LOL Miss those days. Rest peacefully Astrid.

Aunt Astrid was a wonderful aunt...I remember her reading to me at my parent's place at Copei Creek when I was little; and I remember her and Simon always being willing to play games with us kids when they came to WA. I was glad when she played the organ for us at the old church and when she showed my daughter -- Ari Malena -- her great-great grandmother Malena's, gravestone at the old cemetary. I am glad to have had Astrid as my aunt. Love, Jan, Carolyn, & Ari
Our thanks also to Marilyn Walli and the Korsvald family for being there for Astrid and for helping arrange the 100th birthday party which we were so glad to attend.

I first met Marilyn Walli's Aunt Astrid about 18 years ago when she was visiting Marilyn in Spokane...what a wonderful woman. I know how important she was to both the Walli and Korvold families and to the many people whose lives she touched. Blessings to the many family members and friends. We will miss you Astrid!

Astrid was my mother's, Dolores Korsvold Zaring's aunt and cousin. Astrid was a very special person and I loved seeing her when she came to Washington state to visit. She will be missed. She was a kind and gentle lady. When my daughter was born Astrid sent her a blanket and a pillow and to this day my daughter, whi is 27 yrs old, still has this blanket. It was her favorite.

Astrid told about her and her sister walking across the fields to see my mother (Olga Hanson) and grandmother. When they arrived, they noticed several people were visiting, but knocked anyway and discovered the wedding of my mother to Edgar Jones was in progressG. They were invited to stay and join in the celebration. She was also my teacher and a great friend.
