When I first met Cindy, she was devious, manipulative, conniving, bigoted, and overall, a horrible human being.

Will miss your requests demanding that I "run to 7-Eleven for a Cola Slurpee", but something tells me that you're already enjoying all the wonderful Slurpee flavors that only our loving God could provide.
I'm so honored that I had the opportunity to meet you and will never forget your wonderful spirit.
Watch over us all.

Cindy,
My heart is heavy and I don't have the words to express how much so. I was flipping through channels on TV a couple of days ago and they were showing "Pretty Woman". It brought a smile to my face, tears to my eyes and a chuckle because it reminded me how I used to tease you and call you "Julia Roberts" because you were always singing. You loved your music.
Rest In Peace my friend. :0)

We're all far from perfect, but we have a God uniqueness that can never be replaced. The impact of one spirit is immeasurable.
Cindy (Simon) Marcellay was the best assistant I ever had and also the worst pain in my side, loyal to a fault, devious to make me laugh, both generous & needy.
A huge heart, she always searched for love. She loved God, yet got mad at him. Stubborn and often tough, but soft and vulnerable inside.
The last few years, she struggled deeply with the world around her. By all appearances, she simply went to sleep. Why she wrestled so differently than I do, I may never know.
I loved her so much more than she knew or I could make her believe.
At a low point, she met Pastor Bill Wisener. At his own expense he spent time with her. He listened, cared & encouraged her. She started counseling after meeting him. Who was this extreme being that penetrated her shell? I found him to be, not an angel, not a super hero, just a man. He did his best, uniquely positioned by God to help others. A memorial fund has been established for this ministry to continue to counsel to other weary hearts.
Cindy adored the color blue, she painted her house bright blue! All of us get blue at times, it's when we stay blue, we need others' help. You can make a tax deductible donation in Cindy's memory. Designate your gift;
"Blue Oasis." c/o Oasis of Hope Church, P.O Box 1051, 220 Eave, Limon, Colorado 80828
To "Cin" from your BFF, Leisha ("L" as Cindy said when she was perturbed at me.) Thank you for teaching me, friends don't have to be faultless, just loved.

Cindy....I am so sad to learn you are not physically with us any longer, but you touched so many lives and will live on in memories and in hearts. I was thinking back to sitting next to you at work, and had to giggle thinking about you hanging your blanket and wearing your visor to cut the light coming from Bruce's cubicle. I loved your wicked sence of humor and fast wit. You will be missed by many, but never forgotten....and I am sure your mom is glad to be with you again. Rest in peace Cindy.

Cindy was a wonderful friend that I have known for at least 15 years!! I knew Cindy back when she lived in MA. We used to talk on the phone for hours like school girls. She was someone who always listened and was always there for me! I was surprised to hear of her death via phone! I am still in shock as I sit here! We just spoke last month about how Cindy was thinking about moving back to Las Vegas. I told her I would help her look for some rentals. I am pretty devastated that one of my long time friends is no longer here! My thoughts and prayers go out to Cindy's family... I will miss her greatly!

I know you are in heaven, so I am writing this to you, Cindy. You were such an awesome friend, and I was SO lucky to have you as a friend. My life is better because you were in it. You were a wonderful mom to your "Kids", and I'm so thankful you had them back in your life, even for a short time. Bernie Sue and Oakie are lucky kids. You were a wonderful daughter. I know your mom was proud and lucky to have you as her daughter and for you to take such good care of her. I know you are in heaven now, and with your mom. Thanks for being a part of my life, and I will cherish you in my heart forever. Who will I text when we are watching American Idol? Miss you!
