My heart breaks for your family. I am so sorry for your loss. I didn't know your daughter, but did know her grandfather and great-grandmother. I have been told what a beautiful person Naphtalee was inside and out. I can see that in her picture, in her eyes.
Eight years ago August 3, I lost my 17 year old son in a car wreck right before his senior year. We buried him on his 18th birthday; just happened that way.
There is no greater pain than the loss of a child. God Bless you and you have been in my thoughts and prayers.
I know that you don't know me but if there is anything I can do don't hesitate to call 719.767.5615.

My deepest sympathies to the parents in the loss of a precious daughther. May it help you to know that the hearts of others are deeply touched by your loss. Although our hearts ache, we can find comfort in knowing that soon all suffering will one day be of the past. Notice our loving heavenly Father's thoughts on the loss of a loved one.

An Important Message - August 15, 2011
Posted: August 15, 2011 | Last Revised: August 15, 2011
During the summertime in the First Congregational Church in Flagler, it was my privilege to attain some volunteers to sing or play the special music prior to Pastor Bob's teaching. This very special young lady said that she had an important message to tell everyone. Standing straight and tall with this microphone held in her hand, she sang (acapella) her very important message.
"Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to Him belong. They are weak but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me. The Bible tells me so."
It was such an important message that Pastor Bob had us all sing it with her leading it. Naphtalee knew it to be true and wanted to share with others this most important message.

Tadd, Connie & Nathaniel, while my family and I have been gone from Flagler for five years now I remember Naphtalee as a young girl walking with her mother on the streets of Flagler, both of whom always had a smile on their face and a warm greeting for any one who passed by. We will be praying for all of you now and in the days and weeks to come! Please know that God always has a plan for us and must have had a need for Naphtalee in the Kingdom!!

Naphtalee had a joy for life when a young child which is the time I knew her before I moved away. She was a pleasant child and it was an enormous pleasure to receive her warm enthusiastic smile and greeting whenever she saw me. I could count on her sharing a simple story about what she was doing or thinking. The world was a better place for having her in it. Thank you, Lord, for Naphtalee's life. Amen

The Christian Thing To Do - August 14, 2011
Posted: August 15, 2011 | Last Revised: August 15, 2011
I was Naphtalee's kindergarten teacher. Naphtalee was smart, funny, and had a bubbly personality. But one week she got caught stealing her classmates' toys. A few days later Naphtalee and her mother came to school with a big bag of Naphtalee's stuffed animals. Naphtalee and her mother got in front of the class and explained that stealing was wrong. They told the class that the "Christian" thing to do was to give each child a stuffed animal. It was a great lesson for everyone in class. I will always remember that moment. Naphtalee is blessed to have such wonderful Christian parents.
