Obituary of Frank Robertson
Franklin Duncan Robertson age 68 of Agate, Colorado passed away in Aurora, Colorado on Tuesday, October 4, 2011. He was born January 22, 1943 in Hugo, Colorado the son of Herschel and Pauline (Sterling) Robertson. He grew up and attended schools in Hugo and graduated from Hugo High School in 1961.
On February 1, 1964, Frank was united in marriage to Carol Wallace in Limon, Colorado. They shared over forty-seven years of marriage. To this union they shared three children, Lyle, Cindy, and Debra.
After high school, Frank started his career in the road construction industry where he worked in many different facets of the business. He was a truck driver, heavy equipment operator, and later he was a purchasing agent in the road construction industry. He finished his career at Asphalt Paving Company in Golden, Co.
Frank enjoyed woodworking, watching Nascar, Western History, playing card games and he especially loved camping with his family. He was known for his great sense of humor and practical jokes. Frank was honest as the day was long and wasnt afraid to tell anybody the truth. Most of all, Frank was a devoted husband to his wife Carol and he enjoyed spending time and caring for his
children and his grandchildren. He will be missed by family and friends. He loved them all very much. Franks spirit and love will live on forever through his family and friends.
Frank is survived by his loving and devoted wife of the home, Carol; one son, Lyle Robertson (Kim) of Northglenn, Colorado; two daughters, Cindy Gordon (Roland) of Brighton, Colorado and Debra Robertson of Thornton, Colorado; two brothers, Dave Robertson (Cheryl) of Rangely, Colorado and Steve (Judy) Robertson of Greeley, Colorado; three sisters, Betty Kaufman of Denver, Colorado, Della Knutson (Don) of Genoa, Colorado and Janie Van der Schouw (George) of Leadville, Colorado; six grandchildren, Roland Gordon (Monique), Lori Robertson, Cheyenne Gordon, Colin Talbert, Tori Robertson and Lizzie Robertson; two great grandsons, Evan Michael Robertson and R.J. Gordon; and many nieces and nephews.
