Earl and Lorita had a special spirit and love for family. I always enjoyed coming to the ranch as they always made you feel that you were home. I remember the many times our family came out for wheat harvest the fun we would have, even though there was a lot of work to be done (never could keep the sand out of the house, as that was our chore, while Lorita and mom made meals for the harvesters). Earl shared his knowledge and stories to many of us and was a great influence on all of us. He took many youth under his wing giving them opportunities to work the ranch with him. I thank him for his wisdom and kindness to my son, Galen, as he was given the opportunity to help with harvest at a young age of 12, and remains a part of Earl's family today, also giving another generation that wing as Galen's son, Jon, had started working the harvest and enjoyed working side-by-side with Earl. Earl will be sorely missed, but he provided many wonderful memories for all.

Another chapter in our books have closed. Will miss Earl and his fast quips and always interest he had for everyone. Know that he and Lorita had a wonderful time together and now are together again. Keep his Faith and Memory's alive down through the family as this will be the best teacher of all to them.
