Jim will always hold a special place in my heart. He helped me when I was at a low place in my life and was always there for the community. I will never forget the night of Byron's 50th birthday and he got up at midnight to help me "prank" Coast to Coast. Love you Jim!

We were saddened to hear of Jim's passing. He was one of a kind, always so friendly, helpful, caring - always there to deliver the prescription you needed - no matter the time of day or night. We will certainly miss his cheerful howdy young lady or howdy young man! WB Drug has not been the same without him. RIP Jim!

My sympathies go out to Heidi and all the family left behind. He and the little white haired angel that worked with him in the early 80's taught me te life lesson of stealing when at 5 I'd stolen a lollipop. He was patient and kind and let me bring it back without prevocation. He even gave me a hug when it was over. That's how I'll always remember him. A very good soul that will always have a good story to remember him by. It's good to know he's resting and safe.

This has already been said, but, truly Jim Knox was one of a kind! He gave me countless medical advice over the years, always greeted everyone kindly, and went above and beyond the call of duty at the drug store. There will never be anyone like him!! Those of us who had the privilege of living in Burlington and knowing him were blessed!

What an impact Jim had on this community. He always had a friendly greeting when anyone walked into W-B even though we all know he must've been super busy! Never too busy to go "the extra mile" & tell you a little about the presciption you were picking up. It seemed like I always left there feeling a little better than when I went in. W-B has never been quite the same since his retirement. And then the hours & hours he spent on his mayoral duties for the City of Burlington! Jim was just a positive influence to everyone he came in contact with. He will be missed.

Grandpa

My nephew, Dylan's explanation of his Grandpa's death ... Grandpa wasn't battling cancer, he didn't have a stroke, he didn't die of some weird illness. He died of being old. He lived his life how he wanted and his body and mind agreed that it was time. He was done living. He didn't want to live anymore and his body agreed. So it shut down. And honestly that is the way it should be. No one should have to fight illness only to die. I hope that everyone I know gets to die of old age.
