Obituary of Brandon Stewart
Burlington, Colorado resident, Brandon Donald Stewart, passed away on November 28, 2012, at Presbyterian St. Lukes Hospital in Denver, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 28 years old.
Brandon was born on April 5, 1984 in Burlington, Colorado to John H. Stewart and Denise M. Price. Brandon attended school in Massachusetts, Olathe, Kansas and in Frederick, Colorado, and graduated from Frederick High School in 2002. Brandon went on and attended college in Broomfield, Colorado and graduated in 2006 from Redstone College of Aviation Technology with his degree in Aviation.
Brandon was the owner of Stewart Aviation, and worked at the Kit Carson County Airport, as the airport manager for several years. Brandon had a love for aviation, and spent countless hours building and working on airplanes, as well as taking care of the airport. When Brandon wasnt busy working on airplanes or working at the airport, you could always find him fishing, hunting or working on his car, a 1973 Plymouth Duster. Brandon always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal Grandmother Dianne Stewart, maternal Grandmother Anita Marie Price, Grandfather Jerdene Barnhart, one uncle, James Patrick Price, and two cousins, Cole and Cody Barnhart.
He is survived by his parents, Denise Barnhart of Johnstown, Colorado and John Stewart and his wife Cindy of Burlington, Colorado, his stepfather Don Barnhart of Broomfield, Colorado and three brothers, Cameron, Danny and Clayton Barnhart. He is also survived by his grandparents Tom Price of Stratton, Colorado, Don and Pauline Stewart of Burlington, Colorado, Barbara Barnhart of St. Francis, Kansas and Eileen Stewart of Burlington, Colorado, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
