Will treasure memories of You & the warm welcomes I would receive when I saw You during my visits to Colorado over the years. Will very much miss that in future visits, & the warmth of words and laughter I shared with my Aunt Betty Lee. Yes, we both were poets but mine never appeared in any Christmas letters like yours, which were a joy to receive from You each year.

I send my condolences to the family of Betty at this time. May you be comforted by the promise of the resurrection and the end of sickness and death forever. God makes this wonderful promise to us at Revelation 21:4 which states, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." I hope this message is of some consolation.

Betty Lee will be missed deeply. I always enjoyed coming to Colorado and seeing her. She always made me feel so warm and welcome. I especially enjoyed her wonderful Christmas poems each year. She was so talented at writing them. She was an amazing Quilter. Quilting was a part of her life and whenever I quilt it makes me feel close to her. She will be in my heart always.

My thoughts go out to the family. I have many fond memories of Betty Lee. Loved spending time at her house. Coming from the city, the country house held a big fascination! Outhouse, metal round tub for baths, and the water pump in the kitchen! Most of all, I loved visiting with her. She was a delight. So glad she was my aunt.
