Obituary of Charles Ness
Chuck was born on January 25, 1941, in Colorado Springs, CO to Chester and Bernice Ness. He grew up in Truckton, CO and graduated from Yoder High School. On November 16th, 1958, Chuck married his high school sweetheart Gloria Easom. During their fifty years of marriage, they were blessed with four children: Gina Aberle (Steve), Gala Busking (Mike), Gary Ness (Gina) and Greg Ness (Susan). They were further blessed with fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. During his journey with Gloria, they built several successful businesses from flatwork, ready-mix concrete, and selling motorcycles & snowmobiles. During the last twenty years Chuck successfully built Branson Pennzoil and Jacks Car Wash in Branson, MO. After the loss of Gloria in 2009, Chuck found another kindred spirit in Evelyn Gotschall of Calhan, CO. The two were married on June 17th , 2011. In their short time together, Chuck and Evelyn truly enjoyed life with family and friends, splitting their time between Branson and Calhan.
Chuck enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, watching sports, NASCAR and practical jokes. He also pursued and obtained a private pilots license. Throughout his life he turned lifes obstacle into personal challenges. He will truly be missed as a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, mentor and friend!
Chuck is preceded to his heavenly father by his wife, father, mother, sisters Dixie & Hartell, and brother Melvin. He found a spiritual home at the New Life Temple in Branson and Living Word Community in Calhan.
