Those we love left us gifts in the form of precious memories, wisdom that we can still recall. These are the things that shall live forever in our hearts. May the God of all comfort become your refuge and strength during this most difficult time. (Psalm 46:1) Please accept our sincere condolences.

We thought very highly of Ralph, and he was such a nice, kind person. I'd planned on coming to the funeral, but weather and work didn't cooperate. My thoughts were with you and will be. May God give you lots of wonderful memories to help with your loss.

Ralph was a special person in our lives. We always enjoyed visiting with him and seeing him at church. He took an interest in our kids and took time to attend the fair, church youth activities, and high school graduations. He usually had a humorous reply to something in our visits. Dorothy also is a dear friend. Ralph was proud of his country and his military service, yet a humble man through and through. He was a competitor, in church league athletics, and a no-nonsense worker when there was a task at hand. We helped move a few pastors over the years, and when it came to loading furniture he was pretty rough with it--you might see a few more scratches on it after he was done helping, but we got the job done. He was full of life, from feeding the birds in his yard, to playing the accordion, to rooting for his Denver Broncos, and a very generous and tender-hearted man. He, and Dorothy, have been among our favorite people over the years. We will miss him dearly, as will our whole community.

Don and I always enjoyed visiting with Dorothy and Ralph and have really missed them since we left First Baptist Church. I have appointments and won't be able to be at the service, but Don would not miss it! Our prayers are with you, Dorothy, and with your family!
