Dear Arlen and Lavon -- so sorry to learn of Ralph. Jan and I were out of the country and just got home last night (Sun., 4/28). I sure wanted to attend and offer my prayer for Ralph. One of my regrets in my life (and my regrets list is growing longer and longer) is not stopping and visiting Ralph more when I was in Limon. I did two times over the years but I could have done it much more. The last time I visited was some years ago and Ralph gave me a huge hug. I hope you both are well and I offer my sympathies. I would love to hear from you both by email.
Take care, God Bless you both. God Bless Ralph's ever lasting soul.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. Gorden was drafted at the same time and they spent alot of time together until Viet Nam.
We also had some good times after he came home. We will always fondly remember him.

I was a classmate of Ralph's way back in our elementary years in Limon. I enjoyed a visit with him while in Limon for our 50th H.S. reunion. I appreciate his military service and his friendship. He will be missed.

A Snowy Day - April 23, 2013
Posted: April 23, 2013 | Last Revised: April 23, 2013
A snowing morning like this reminds me of Ralphie. I called him Ralphie. He once babysat a kitten I had gotten from Gracie Swanson. I was bottle feeding it and could not leave it in the truck so he let me leave it with him an afternoon or two. I named the kitten Ralph, I thought it was a boy. It turned out it was a girl and I renamed her Ralph Faye. I called Ralph many times to get a weather report and he was always happy to help and I miss him. He was a friend and I am thinking of him on a snowing morning missing a weather report and him telling me to have a good day. I still have my cat. She had 5 kittens!
