Obituary of Gary Neidig

Lifelong Burlington, Colorado resident, Gary Dean Neidig passed away on August 23, 2013 at his home in Burlington. He was 76 years old. Gary was born on July 26, 1937 in St. Francis, Kansas to Bill and Vada (Bannister) Neidig. He was one of four children born to this union. He attended school in Burlington and graduated from Burlington High School in 1956. Gary met and later married Jackie Mae Boyles on January 30, 1957 in Clayton, New Mexico. To this union three children were born; Cary, Jody and Cindy. Gary worked with his high school friend Darol Hoschouer picking up milk at the local dairies and delivered it to a processing plant for 33 years before retiring in 1996. He loved family dinners and especially playing any game of cards. Gary was a member of the First Christian Church in Burlington. Gary is preceded in death by his parents and his baby brother Eddie. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 56 years Jackie, son Cary and wife Ronda, son Jody, daughter Cindy and husband Brad, sister Judy and husband Marvin Buchholz, sister Janice Barnhart, eight grandkids and four great grandkids, sister-in-law and brother-in-law and best friends Jim and Jerry Troyer and many nieces and nephews.
