Dear Jim and Kathy. You may not remember me since it's been close to 30 since I lived in Burlington. I used to wait tables at Skelly's and worked for Mitchell's. I now live in Springfield, Co. and have Love's Funeral Home send me the names of those who have passed.
I was shocked to see your Dad's name and felt I wanted to send my deepest sympathy to you and your whole family.
John was such a kind man. I remember his somewhat dry sense of humor which always made me laugh and, that sort of half smile when he knew he said something funny.
I was surprised to see he lived to 96. But, so glad he had a good long life. He will be miss by many people I'm sure.
My condolences to you and know I'm thinking about you.
