Obituary of Kenneth Deegan
Kenneth Melvin Deegan, 38, of Limon Colorado passed away on August 28, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Ken was born on December 17, 1974 to Kenneth Sr. and Donna, in Denver, Colorado.
He was a 1995 graduate of Calhan High School. Kens life took many paths and included all types of vocations, but the one that truly fulfilled him, was raising his children and caring for his mother-in-law.
Ken met the love of his life, Erica McBeth, while working at Fireside Junction, in Limon. The couple was united in marriage on March 25, 1999. They made their home in Limon and were blessed with 3 children, Khoen, Tyler and Jordan.
Ken was a huge Bronco fan and loved game day. Because he was the master of the grill, game days were also family get-together/cook out days. Ken took every opportunity to take the family and go fishing and camping. His favorite spot was Bonnie Dam. He also enjoyed golfing with his wife and friends. Ken was a loving and devoted dad and husband. Family meant everything to him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents-Simone and Roy, brother-Danny and two nieces-Jessica and MaKennah.
Ken is survived by his wife, Erica and three children of Limon, Colorado. He is also survived by his parents Kenneth Sr. and Bianca Lawrence of Konawa, Oklahoma and Donna and Paul Blackwood of Joplin, Missouri, siblings William C. Lawrence of Norman, Oklahoma, Jessica D. Dileria, Kendrea J. Lawrence, Alexis C. Harjo, Kenneth C. Lawrence, all of Konawa, Oklahoma and Kelli Blackwood of Joplin, Missouri. Ken is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
