Obituary of Gail Adams
Gail Irene Adams, formerly of Simla, Colorado passed away on September 15, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Gail was born on February 11, 1931 to Russell L. and Grace (Bunt) Reid one of six children. She grew up in Colorado Springs graduating from Colorado Springs High School in 1949. After graduation Gail attended Blair Business College and worked as a bookkeeper for the Coca Cola Bottling Co and Montgomery Wards.
Gail had one son, Michael Hall with whom she loved and enjoyed spending time.
Gail married Milton A. Adams in Denver, Colorado on February 9, 1972 the couple made their home in Simla, Colorado. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge, she enjoyed going to the symphony, loved playing Bunko, and in Gails younger years she enjoyed square dancing. Gail loved to travel and her favorite was going on cruises and being on the water. She liked to read and her favorite author was Zane Grey, she also enjoyed a good western movie especially those of John Wayne.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents; Russell and Grace, two sisters; Helen and Elizabeth Reid and one brother; Russell Reid Jr. and her husband; Milton Adams.
Gail is survived by her son Michael Hall and his wife Janet of Colorado Springs, Colorado, nephews; David Reid of Pueblo, Colorado and Scott Reid of Northern California. She is also survived by her grandchild; Robert Michael (Shannon) Hall and great grandchildren Sierra and Autumn Hall of Walkersville, MD.
