Merry Go Round
Posted: March 5, 2014 | Last Revised: March 5, 2014
Once, when Ken and I visited Sylvia in Vona, she took us to ride on the original merry go round somewhere close to Vona.
I remember that the ride was very cheap, very fast and very long. Sylvia and I both felt a little woozy and were glad that it finally stopped!
This was sometime close to her wedding anniversary. I can't tell you the exact date. Afterwards, we went to a Chinese restaurant nearby for supper.
It was a memorable time.c

I pray that your family finds comfort in the "little things" that brings their memories of you to their mind. Whether it's a song, a poem, or a warm spring day that brings you to mind ... I hope their memory of you brings warmth to their hearts and strength to their souls.
May their world have been a better place that you were part of theirs.
Sincerely,
Scott Verity

Dear Family...So sorry for your loss of your mother and grandmother. With all the agony and pain that this world brings about. YES! What a PRIVILEDGE to learn of someone to exceed the expectations of living this life.(Psalms 90:10). SHE had an extensive legacy and was well reported on. Losing a person as such is not always easy to comprehend because of their impact on the family and their contribution they made to society. . May the Lord give your family the peace that excels all thought and the memories you have of her continue to make you smile. Again ...so sorry for your loss.

Dear family and friends of Sylvia,
I am sorry for your loss. The death of someone you love is never an easy thing to cope with, no matter what their age. Perhaps you can find some solace in knowing that Sylvia lived a long life and was able to experience things few ever will. You can also find solace in knowing that you have the opportunity to see Sylvia again. The Bible states at John 5:28, 29, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Jesus] voice and come out." I hope these words bring you comfort.
