We just found out about your Fathers passing. Have been pre-occupied with Mom (Elouise Felzien). She is in Good Sams Goodland and has improved since we put her on hospice status. I hope Opal is taking it OK. Such a sweet couple! Enjoyed saying Hi to them when we went to see Dad. Our Sympathy to you all. Marsha & Rick

I and Roxanne and our children Adam and Sara send our thoughts and prayers for Uncle Loyd's family as you go through this loss.
Uncle Loyd and Aunt Opal were a great help and support to my learning experience as a young boy growing to be a man. Uncle Loyd gave me my first job in the summer of 1953 driving a Model "D" John Deere tractor breaking up the clods formed from plowing of new sod. That was the beginning of many more learning experiences. Lots of stories and memories from those days on the farm near the Republican River.
I appreciated his approach to life and his contribution to his family and his happy spirit.
Blessings to all of you as you deal with missing him.
With Love and Prayers,
- Jim(mie)

I remember my dad, Everett Duncan, talking about and to Mr. Klassen. I always enjoyed talking to both Loyd and Opal when I would see them at the Stratton Super Foods. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.

To the Grandpa I never knew,
We both missed opportunities to get to know each other. However, I know there is a wheat field up in heaven where we will meet for the first time and everything will make sense.
Love,
Brandy

Uncle Loyd will be missed. I always loved visiting and hearing his great stories, checking out the new farm engines he was working on. I added some pictures too.

You will always hold a special place in my heart Great Uncle Lloyd. I still have his Carhart vest. He mailed it to me after our visit many years ago. He knew I was a farm girl at heart. I'm sure Lloyd is taking care of a farm in heaven right now!
