Don and I may not make it to the service due to family commitments with homecoming, but our prayers are with you. We enjoyed so many memories with Russell and Elaine, as they hosted exchange students, traveled with us to France, and hosted us for several wonderful meals and time together. Russell will be missed! I took care of Russell at Aspen leaf. He loved me I loved him. My name is Angela Montoya and I went and held his hand the Wednesday before he passed and told him he could go sit high on that mountain like he always wanted sence I met him. Love u fly high always missed but never forgotten

Jeff, sisters and families: Your Dad was such a wonderful person. Always a smile and Hello whenever we would meet. We always had a nice time visiting with him at was then Carla's when churches were still allowed to hold services. May God comfort you all knowing that there is much Joy in Heaven when another angel comes home

May the Lord rest your soul Russ. We lived in your trailer court in the early 60's. I also worked at the theatre when you were one of the projectionist. Russ and my Dad Jerry Kempf worked for the State Highway Dept at one time. What a tremendous loss when we lost both you and your beloved Elaine. Dad was an exceptional man. He taught me a lot. I know I gave him and mom lots of gray hair over the years. But over all he still loved me. It’s going to be tough not seeing him I used to tell him what I was doing and where I was going but now I will just have to tell him through my memories. Till we meet again dad. Jeff and family, This is a very sad day for many. Russell was an amazing person and I, along with many, had so much respect for him.
