Marcella Denise Gregg
1961 - 2022
Marcella Gregg passed away on August 24th, 2022, at the age of 60 in Denver, Colorado. She will be forever remembered by her four children, Amy Scott, Lucas Alley, James Scott, and Micheal Gregg (Stephanie Suazo), and her grandson, Jonah Braunschweig. As her heart condition progressed over the past few years, she was cared for by her loving sons, Micheal Gregg and Lucas Alley.
Marcella grew up in Limon, Colorado, alongside many close family members and is survived by her aunts Maurine Onat and Carla Carstens, cousins Kevin Carstens (Ben Poe), Steven Pickens (wife Alice and children James and Holly), and other family members including Evren Onat, Erin Onat, Sezen Onat, Stephanie Pickens, and Megan Pickens.
Marcella started working in the nursing home in Limon, Colorado, and later at the Lincoln Community Nursing home in Hugo, Colorado. She moved to Cincinnati in 2003 and continued her work in nursing homes before returning to Denver in her later years. She took care of many residents during her decades-long work, including her grandmother Edith Carstens, with an abundance of love and compassion that is still remembered today.
A family memorial will be held on Friday, September 23rd, 2022 in Limon, Colorado.
