Larry loved his coffee. It never failed when going over to see Larry & Grace, the first thing he asked is if we wanted a cup of coffee. He just couldn’t understand why we didn't want any. It became a running joke over the 14 years we were blessed to be neighbors!

Dear Mrs. Skinner, Shannon, Stacey and family, sending my deepest condolences for the loss of Mr. Skinner. Thank you for sharing your dad with all of us. What a blessing he was to the community of Limon. He is by far one of the kindest men I have ever known, and I’m so grateful for his constant good nature. Such an example of goodness. He made everyone feel special, even with just a quick pass by in the hall. Truly this world has lost one of the finest, and there is no doubt that he is looking down on his beautiful family and LHS family. Love from the Copleys

We are sorry for your loss; Mr. Skinner was one of those people that always made you feel amazing. I always loved seeing him and Mrs. Skinner out and about, they were the type of couple we all hope to be, I look back on my years at school in Limon and I don't know how we got so lucky to have such people in our lives at such an important time of our lives. If we can all look into ourselves and work to follow such a great example our world will be a much better place to live. Sincerely John and Brenda Higgins

Mr. Skinner, I could never call him Larry, or his wife Grace, as they were my school life teachers. Mr Skinner always had a smile, and a shoulder if one was needed. He left you feeling better about yourself than you did before you entered his classroom. My fondest memory is the joy he had on his face when a student discovered something. In his drafting class, when a one dimensional object suddenly became 3 dimensional. He shared your joy as often as he would comfort you in your pain.
My deepest and most sincere condolences.
Love to Grace and to all of his family

Larry was one of the kindest men I had the pleasure of knowing. He was a true Christian who showed everyone blessed to know him how to treat others. He walked in the Lord's path and was a role model and inspiration for others. Larry could light up a room with his smile. He was genuine. I am blessed to have been one of the many people who called him friend! My prayers go out to you Grace, Shannon, Stacie and family. He will truly be missed. Melissa (Mease) Bower
