Obituary of Bobby Lee Grimes

Bobby was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on December 6, 1979, and passed away unexpectedly July 13, 2022, at the age of 42. Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Raye Grimes, and his sister, Joy Ann Grimes. His maternal grandparent and paternal grandparents. Bobby leaves his families of his mother, Jayne, Stepfather, Terry, Brother’s, Tab, and Isaac, nephew, Layden, Sister, Autem Glover and family, Grandmother, Joan Bruner, Father, Jess and Brother, Neal. Bobby had many Aunts and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and Cousins. He loved and cherished each one of them. Bobby graduated from Miami- Yoder High School in 1999. From there he worked at various jobs until he found his perfect job working on power lines. His main love and passion were bull riding. Bobby lived to ride bulls. He loved the raging animals that were ten times his size. He always told us that he would live and die riding bulls, and he was so good at it. His job took him to many different states. He built power lines out of a helicopter and would tell us of the beautiful, peaceful skies. He enjoyed exploring every place that his work took him. He met so many wonderful people along the way. As his mother, I worried about his lifestyle. He always reassured me that he was not afraid of death. He accepted the Lord at a very young age. He said that to him death would be calming and peaceful. Like a splash when you dive into cold water. All the suffering and pain would be gone. He reassured me that if he died on a bull or building power lines to always remember that he was doing what he loved. Bobby lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed every day and loved everybody! His heart was bigger than the earth. He will be missed by many.
