Obituary of Sheri Lynn Lorensen

Sheri Lynn Lorensen, 65, of Limon, Colorado was born July 8, 1956. She passed away April 19, 2022. Sheri was born in Grant, Nebraska to Francis and Ellen (Wulf) Eastwood. She spent her early childhood years in rural Nebraska and later moved to Limon in 1963. Sheri graduated from Limon High School and attended Parks College for bookkeeping. On September 30, 1978, Sheri married Marcus Lorensen in Limon, Colorado. She worked as a bookkeeper and partner in the family drilling business. Sheri enjoyed bowling and had a special love for her cats. Sheri is survived by her husband Marcus “Butch” Lorensen of Limon, Colorado; son Andrew (Autumn) Lorensen of Limon, Colorado; grandson Jacob Lorensen of Limon, Colorado; brothers Dan (Lee) Eastwood of Limon, Colorado and Robert Eastwood of Limon, Colorado; and sister-in-law Susan Eastwood of Springfield, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her parents Francis and Ellen Eastwood and her brother Dennis Eastwood. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Pershing Memorial Cemetery in Limon, Colorado 80828. In lieu of flowers, the Lorensen family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 OR Lincoln Community Home Health & Hospice at P.O.
