Mary was a faithful Christian, her faith was unwavering and constant - even when the world her around was not. She loved her family and was a wonderful mother. Mary worked hard to provide for her children and to care for her mother. Her mother passed the love for gardening along to her as a toddler. It brought her a lot of joy and wonder to watch her flowers and vegetables grow. When she could no longer get on the ground and get her hands dirty in the garden, she loved “supervising” and educating on how it should be done. Her favorite craft was crocheting. She made an afghan for many different family members. She was an artist with her crocheting. Mary was a computer and gadget geek. She got her first computer in 1995 from her son Kevin. The computer took her all over the world – able to see live images of places she had only heard, read or dreamt about. She loved all gadgets, using her computer, iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch every day.
Mary, formerly of Limon, CO and Hugo, CO moved to Cincinnati, OH from Hugo, CO in 1998 to live with her son Kevin and son-in-law Ben and lived there until her passing. Her son Steve and his wife Alice and their family live nearby in Crittenden, KY and son Ron lives in Colorado. Mary’s family meant everything to her and she cherished being with, around and in contact with them as a part of her daily life. Mary is loved by and will be forever missed by all of them.
