Obituary of Mickey Dean Jaques

Mickey Dean Jaques “Mick”, 60, of Arriba, Colorado passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at his home. Mickey Jaques was born on March 6, 1961 in Brush, Colorado, he was the son of the late Marilyn Rogers and Charles Jaques. Mickey was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors, he took high pride in his work at the Lincoln County Landfill which he had retired from in February 2021 after 20 years there. In Mickeys spare time, he would be outdoors, doing anything from “getting a good tan” as he would always say, to doing yard work or enjoying time spent with family and friends. Mickey Jaques is survived by his daughter Nikki Jaques, his step daughters Amanda Lontine, Lyann Stites; and 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. He is also survived by his 2 brothers Jim Jaques and Toni Jaques. In addition to his late Mother Marilyn, his late Father Charles, and his late brother Larry. A celebration of life will be held at the Congregational Church 220 Curtis St, Arriba, CO 80804 on February 26, at 10:00 a.m. Then, the inurnment at the Arriba Cemetery 53051 County Rd 42 Arriba, Colorado 80804.
