Obituary of Marianna Brown

Marianna Brown, 77, wife of Wayne Brown of Limon, CO, was taken home by the Lord on December 17, 2021. She was born September 7, 1944, in Colorado to Miguel and Catalina Martinez of Agate, CO. She married Wayne Brown May 6, 1984. Marianna was a member of the Hi-Plains Baptist Church and The Gideons. Her hobbies included spending time on the ranch, cooking, and taking care of her flowers. Marianna once traveled to Mexico and volunteered to help build homes for the orphanage. She was always there to give a helping hand whether it was for furniture, clothes, and/or food. She enjoyed helping raise her grandchildren and great-grandchildren (names in bold). She is survived by her husband Wayne Brown of Limon, CO; son Henry Joesph Martinez and his wife Tammy of Wellington, CO; son Anthony Quintana and his wife Kimberly of Limon, CO; daughter Sarah Juanes of Brooks, CA; son William Baker of Montana; daughter Juanita Meirose of Fort Collins, CO; son Wesley Bower and his wife Wendi of Florida; and son Brian of California; 4 sisters Beatrice Alexander, Rafiala Hall, Ruth Vaughan, and Sarah Kohler; sister-in-law Betty Brown; 9 grandchildren, Trent, Shelby, Sunny, Ginger, Alexis, John Henry, William Robert, Amber, and Garrick; 12 great-grandchildren, Anthony, Candice, Joshua, Bella, Wyatt, Bailey, Orick, Noah, Nolan, Samone, Layla, and Cleo. She is preceded in death by her parents Miguel and Catalina Martinez; 2 brothers Paul and Leo Martinez; and 2 sisters Rebecca Quintana, and Rena Vernon. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 10:30 am, at the Hi-Plains Baptist Church in Limon, CO 80828 with the Interment to follow at the Genoa Cemetery in Genoa, CO 80818.
