Heartfelt condolences to Jeff's family during this very difficult time. We were all so blessed to have Jeff in our lives through his music and with his ability to show his love so freely. He was right there with his guitar ready to remember my son in his memorial service last June out of love just because he was Jeff, and we loved him back for it. We will always remember him for that.

His laugh is what I'll always remember. That mix of guffaw and chortle was all his.
We spent many a day wiping up milk, chocolate milk, sodas or juice, whatever we were drinking, that shot out of our noses while we laughed and played and then fought, got separated, then did it all again... great times with you, my cousin.
As we do when we get older we drift apart. Distance, time, it all adds up to missing out on some great experiences with the ones you love most. I did make it to the wedding in Calhan. I laughed about that trip for years and I still get to tell the story of buying, possibly the last and oldest wedding card in history, in the hardware store. I loved how you beamed at Chrissy on your wedding day. That big ol' cowboy grin.
I honestly don't know if it's the time we won't spend together that I'll miss the most or the time we should have spent together. It was always good catching up, though, that text or call from out of the blue and your laugh.
I suppose one day I'll hear it again, with your dad, my Uncle Jim, right there with you and that uniquely Walton laugh.
I'm so thankful we got to spend a day together this past August. There was no way to know it would be our last day to do that. We spent it talking about family and our shared history. What a great day it was. I'm gonna miss you, cuz'. Oh, and one more thing, TAG, you're it!

I will always remember Jeff for his kindness to my family during the most difficult times. He was always there to give a hug or a smile or both. He has always been such a gracious and loving friend to my family. He will be forever missed.
