Wilma and Harold moved to Kiowa with their family when I was in the second grade; there daughter Raynette and I were in the same grade, so I had a lot of interaction with Wilma, or as I always called her, Mrs. Miller, over the years. She drove my school bus, was one of the 4H leaders, was at every basketball or volleyball game and track meet, and much more.
Wilma always had a sparkle in her eye and a smile on her face. She shared so much wisdom to make us all better people! She was direct, fair, fun and a little mischievous! I recall one of Raynette’s birthday parties, where the cat got into the chicken thawing on the counter. She told us that we had to eat the chicken. I think the four or five of us girls that were celebrating Raynette’s birthday were appalled and we were probably all afraid of Mrs. Miller…. Needless to say, we had pizza!
Wilma Miller was a GOOD lady!

I remember Wilma always being with her kids at the Elbert County Fair every year. What a great lady & blessed with a great family. Rest in Peace.
