I am so sorry to hear of Javen's passing: he was always one of the most down to earth and fun guys to hang out with and he relished good food and good company. He was a true blue red blooded patriotic American and a very loyal friend I will never forget: We had some wonderful times hanging out barbecuing, philosophizing about life, and hanging out at my cabin up in Estes Park. He also was an avid hunter and I made chili for us out of the delicious antelope meat he had hunted. He also introduced me to Henry Weinhardt's Root Beer!!.. Every time I have a bottle I always thought of Javen. He loved the outdoors and I am going to miss his sense of humor and his trademark laugh and wonderful smile most of all. My deepest and most sincere condolences to all of you that knew him best and to all of his family. I remember he told me how much she loved his family in Missouri and he was a prince and a gentleman. Bless him and bless all of his family... Very sincerely, Teddy Vardell

A very good man with a a life to be proud of. In his honor, Denise and I have made a donation to the Eagle's Nest Ranch in his name
