Obituary of Donna Lee Hanlon

Donna Lee Hanlon went to be with Jesus on March 10, 2021. Donna was born September 30, 1944 as the firstborn child to Don and Leah Bostron in Sterling, Co. She was soon joined by Brother Phil, Sister Kathie and Sister Johnnie. Donna and her family moved to Strasburg during her school years and that is where she met and married Keith Hanlon. They were wed in 1964 and lived in Strasburg up till her death. In March of 1966 their first child daughter Kelly Dawn was born. In June 1968 their son Brian Keith (M- Kelly Jean Field-Hanlon) was added to complete their family. Donna led a full life – Farm wife, mother, Sunday School Teacher, 4-H Club Leader, VBS Coordinator, Crafter, Scrapbooker, Seamstress, Choir member and beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Some of her greatest joys were the Grandbabies Micah Lane, Mackenzi Lea (M-John Grauer). Brooke Kelsey (M- Dominic Morris) and Brice Frank. Compounding her joy were the “greats” Kutter Lane, Kastyn Slade, Weston McQuade and Lawson Clay. Along with several nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by husband Keith, parents Don and Leah, and Brother Phil. After Keith’s passing Donna continued caring for her family and crafting along with her most joyful passion of singing with the choir at her beloved church. Donna began a battle with cancer in December of 2020 and walked into the loving arms of the lord March 2021.
