Obituary of Donald Lee Wilbur

Donald Lee Wilbur Born March 19, 1934 in Kennesaw, GA Died January 1, 2021 in Wichita, KS Don was preceded in death by Harriet Ann (Grubbs) Wilbur, his loving wife of 48 years. Don is survived by his sons Stephen P, Wilbur (Nolly) of Andover, KS and John M. Wilbur (Janice) of Fairfield, IA. Don and Harriet had 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Don and Harriet faithfully served in the ministry, with their last formal position being with Colorado Chaplains Association serving at Limon State Correctional Facility, while residents of Simla, CO. Don previously was a pastor in Rose Hill, KS, Bridgetown, MO as well as many other service areas. Don was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Japan and Hawaii, among other locations. The graveside service will be in Simla, Colorado officiated by Don and Harriet Wilbur’s friend, Reverend Jerry Allen January 16th, 2021 and his earthly body will lie next to his wife.
