Obituary of Louise Conrardy
Louise Anna (Klenke) Conrardy, 94, of Stratton, Colorado, passed away at the Grace Manor Care Center in Burlington on Saturday, January 10, 2015.
She was born on July 26, 1920 in Spearville, Kansas. Her parents were William and Clara Klenke. Louise attended school in Spearville and graduated from Spearville High School in 1939.
Louise met the love of her life, Bernard Conrardy, at a dance and they were married at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Spearville on October 25, 1939.
She enjoyed raising five children and was active in their school activities. She enjoyed crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and traveling. In addition, she was also involved in her Church and Parish functions, as well as the Stratton Senior Center.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband Bernard, daughter Anita Balman and grandson Bradley Balman.
She is survived by her sister Eunice Schaapveld, sister-in-law Joan (Bill) Hornung, four children; Dale (Veronica), Galen (Judy), Roy (Brenda) and Janice (Dick) Anderson. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
Louise was very proud of her twenty years as secretary at the Stratton High School. She loved interacting with all the young people. She will be missed by many.
