Obituary of Sherry Easterday

Sherry Easterday, 71, passed on November 25, 2020. A Memorial Service in her hometown of Eustis, NE will take place at a later date. Sherry was born April 6, 1949 in Holdrege, NE to Clyde and Eloris Sill Houlden. Sherry was the oldest of 4 siblings. April 29, 1961 Clyde married Ruby O’Grady and Sherry gained 2 step siblings. She graduated from Omaha Benson high school. On June 18, 1967 she married Gene Easterday in Elwood, NE. Sherry was a hard worker. From farming, custom harvesting and truck driving, to later in her life working at Village Pie Maker and H&J Grocery. Sherry was an avid reader and loved her 6 grandchildren with all of her heart. Sherry is survived by her son, Mike (Stacey) Easterday of Watkins, CO and daughter, Michelle (Michael) Hand of Midland, SD; siblings Judy (Mike) Bunger, Joe (Kim) O’Grady, Brad (Shirley) Houlden, and Tim (Barb) Houlden, grandchildren: Austin, Ella, Cadence, Reese, Carson and Riley, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
