Obituary of Mary Lou Buckley
Mary Lou Buckley, a mother, a sister, a grandmother and great-grandmother of Limon, CO passed away November 28, 2020 at the age of 90.
Mary Lou is survived by her children, Susan (Fred) Lister; Bob (Mary) Richards; Tim (Teresa) Richards; nine grandchildren, Nikki, Stephanie, Sara, Jenna, Lister, Scott (Jennie) Richards, Dave ( Megan) Richards,
Matt ( Meghan) Richards, Tracy Richards, Danielle (Brian Lang); 7 great grandchildren. Brothers Bill Hellmich, Jim (Jo) Hellmich, Carl (Katha) Hellmich and sister Ann Hall. She is preceded in death by her brother John Ed Hellmich, her parents Albert and Lou Hellmich.
Mary Lou was born in Greensburg, IN on October 26, 1930 to Albert and Lou Hellmich. She graduated from Greensburg High School She was employed by Decatur County Hospital and worked in the lab in Greensburg, and later on she worked at Minear’s in sales. She was married to Raymond(Dan) Richards. To this union 3 children were born. Later on she married Tom Buckley. She moved to Limon when she was 77 years old.
She loved to shop and play cards with her friends. She was also known for her cooking (homemade noodles). Her granddaughters, Nikki and Jenna Lister, are carrying on this tradition. She will always be remembered for her feisty personality. She was a Member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Limon.
Interment will be at South Park Cemetery in Greensburg, IN.
