She was born April 27, 1935, in Stratton, CO, to Fred and Alta (Miles) Pugh. In 1954 Orilla graduated from Stratton High School. Then furthered her education in 1954 and 1955 by attending Colorado A & M (CSU) in Fort Collins, Colorado. She married while she resided in Colorado Springs in the years of 1955 through 1958. She returned to Stratton and lived there from 1958 and stayed until 1962. Cheyenne Wells, Colorado became her home from 1962 to 1991. Through these years she was blessed with one son and five daughters. Orilla spent her time caring for her children and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She showed her creative side by sewing, gardening, and crafting. She loved attending class and family reunions. Once there were fewer children at home to care for, Orilla began her career with the United States Postal Service in Cheyenne Wells, CO. She took a temporary position in Bristol, CO, before taking her final assignment as Postmaster in Genoa, CO. With this assignment Genoa, Colorado became her residence in 1991. Throughout her years with the Postal Service she maintained a festive office, decorating her office and wearing festive attire for every holiday. She delighted in interacting with her patrons, especially those young enough to enjoy a hand stamp in return for visiting her. The Postal Service gave her a reason to travel as she joined her coworkers in attending the annual National League of Postmasters Conventions throughout the United States. Orilla found the love of her life and gained a travel partner when she married fellow United Methodist Church member Frank T. Link, also known as F.T. or "Junior". In between their travels, the two of them regularly attended church and were members of the Genoa Lions Club. They relished visits from their grandchildren and great grandchildren. Orilla was even blessed, by recieving a visit from her first great-great-grandchild. Aspen Leaf Assisted Living formerly known as Carla's Cluster Care became her final residence in January of 2016. While there she enjoyed walking the halls, playing Bingo, and regularly attended worship services. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Junior Link; son Kenneth Harless; brothers Orville, Walter, Earnest, Louis, and Virgil Pugh; and sisters Rosalie Pickerill, Lavina Hall, Grace Mahaffey, and Jodell Killgore.
