Obituary of Alberta J. Fagerlund

Alberta was born in Colorado Springs on June 19, 1926 the youngest daughter of Albert and Lanola (Lona) Nathan. She graduated from Colorado Springs High in 1944. Following graduation, she worked in the office of Town Talk Bakery. She married Wayne Fagerlund in 1945. They moved to Flagler in 1948. They were blessed with 3 sons, Gary, Larry and Randy. After raising the boys she went back to work as the Bookkeeper for Flagler Farmers Coop for 20 years. Alberta was Worthy Matron of Eastern Star Flagler in 1956 and a life member with Sterling Chapter, a life member of over 50 years of American Legion Auxiliary in Flagler, a Red Hat Society Member and a member of the First Congregational Church of Flagler where she sang in the Choir. She is preceded in Death by her Father, Mother, Sister, Husband Wayne (married 61 years at his death). Survived by sons Gary (Judy), Larry (Susan) and Randy (Pamela). Grandchildren Eric, Lona (Daniel), Brian (Theresa), Heidi (Sean), Sheryl (Jared), Daniel (Allison) and 9 Great-Grand Children, and many friends.
